WIP Wednesday #13

Hello, Wednesday! It's time for another update. I keep making progress, but it seems like items keep getting added to the list. Yeesh! (In case you've missed out, I'm following along with Freshly Pieced's W.I.P. (Work In Progress) Wednesday series as a good way for me (and you) to keep track of what's going on around here.)

Completed this week:
Baby blanket and bapron for a friend who's having a baby next month
Another makeup bag
Burp cloths for Biscuit! (I made them using Made by Rae's tutorial. For the fronts, I used the same bird and plaid fabrics I used for the blanket and bapron above. The backs are made from some of my sister's old band t-shirts — ah, memories.)

Started this week:
Two more makeup bags and a kindle cover and coin purse for my cousin (fabric's all cut!)

In progress/On the "to do" list:
Produce bags
Hide and Seek Spectrum baby quilt — Everything's washed and ironed, and I'm about half done with the cutting.
Empire Waist Cinch for me from Handmade Beginnings
Nursery bedding for the biscuit: crib dust ruffle, crib mobile, and lots of crib sheets
Other biscuit-related projects

Hope everyone has a great rest of the week. And be sure to click on the button to check out other great WIPs for more inspiration!

  1. I love the colors you have pulled for that Hide and Seek baby quilt -- the plane fabric is my favorite.

  2. I LOVE your items, great color choices.

  3. What cute baby stuff! And your spectrum quilt is coming along! Thanks for linking up to WIP Wednesday. : )

  4. The spectrum baby quilt looks like it will be fun. Great colors.
