Style Stitches Challenge 2: Reversible Everyday Shopper fabrics

It's February, so that means it's time for the second bag in the Style Stitches 12-Month Challenge — Amy Butler's Reversible Everyday Shopper.
I finally picked out my fabrics this weekend at Joann's. Thank goodness for half-off sales on home dec fabric — that's stuff's expensive! :)
I'm hoping to get started on the bag this week (and hoping it's a lot faster and easier than the first one, though I'm LOVING my Cosmo bag).

Check out the group's Flikr page to see what other people are doing for their bags.

  1. That looks like an awesome combo!

I couldn't bring myself to buy even more fabric. So I'm making due with a mix of quilting-weight cotton and a home dec canvas-type. Hopefully with all the interfacing it will work out. Here's hopin'! :)

  2. Robin, I thought of doing the same thing and was so happy when I found this fabric on sale at Joann's (only $5/yd!). I am worried that this challenge is going to get expensive, especially with all the additional interfacing she requires. I bet your bag will work fine; you just may not want to put quite as many heavy things in it. :)
