This is my first time participating in Giveaway Day (at least as someone doing the giving), and it's about time! I've planned on doing it so many times before, but every time, something's come up (you know, like trips to Italy) or I've been in the midst of holiday sewing sprees and the idea of adding one more thing to the sewing pile was just too much.
Granted, this year, I probably should have been working on my Waterfront Park quilt, but, you know, sometimes you need a break. So, today, I'm giving away this fun holiday coaster set. It includes four double-sided coasters and a coordinating tray to hold them.
One side of every coaster includes a combination of linen and the wonderful mistletoe print from the lovely Winter's Lane collection. These two fabrics are also used in the tray. On the flip side, two of the coasters combine linen with Metro Living circles in red and the other two combine linen with a red candy cane fabric (the name of which I'm forgetting).
The print combinations are great because you can either go "full holiday" with lots of red and candy canes or stick with a more wintery, less holiday look. The coasters measure 4.5" square. All of the items are topstitched for a nice finish.
I love how these turned out and was tempted to just keep them for myself. They do match my new table runner, after all. But, instead, I'm going to share them with one of you lucky people because the holidays are all about giving, right?
Please be sure I have a way to contact you in case you win! If you're a no-reply commenter, be sure to include your email address in your comment. I will ship the items no later than Dec. 19, so you'll get them in plenty of time for Christmas (for your own decor or in case you're hoping to use them as a gift). Unfortunately, due to shipping costs, I cannot ship internationally.
Don't forget to check out the other great giveaways over on Sew Mama Sew, and thanks again for stopping by! Good luck!
