WIP Wednesday #47

Well, I'm back. Yeesh. I had such grand plans of getting stuff done last week before our trip to Atlanta (more on that soon), but I was seriously derailed by a clogged kitchen sink, which led to a pipe in our basement being replaced. Basement pipe work = moving everything away from the corner where the pipe is for several days = no sewing. But I did manage to get a bit of cutting done before the reality of homeownership struck, and I'm hoping to soon pick up where I left off.

Completed:
Not a darn thing

In progress:
First, I made some good headway on cutting the Comma fabrics for the hub's office wall quilt project. I'm using a modified version (read: smaller) of this Disappearing 9-Patch pattern from Craftsy, and I'm hoping it will come together pretty quickly.
Next, I'm planning to cut into this lovely Waterfront Park bundle for a secret quilt project that needs to get rolling. I'm planning on highlighting the fabrics using the Mod Circuitry Quilt from Don't Call Me Betsy with a light gray solid for the background.

Finally, I got all of the pieces cut and interfaced for my Go Anywhere bag. Yahoo! And while I was at it, I decided to make a coordinating open-wide zippered pouch for me. It's about time I got one. :) Let's finally get this thing done!
And, of course, somewhere in sewing land, I'm still working on my T-shirt quilt and Kitchen Window quilt. Sigh.

On the "to do" list:
Pillows for the STLMQG Pillow Bomb Project
Re-covering the downstairs chair
New pillows for the downstairs chairs
Christmas table runner
iPod workout strap
A mug rug for me
Ironing board cover
Another divided basket from the Noodlehead pattern
Reusable snack bags
Living room quilt
Small zipper bag for me

This week, I'm linking up to WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced!

  1. YUM! All those yummy yummy fabrics! Sometimes all I need is ideas and fabric to fondle! especially after a week where you get to use clogged and pipe in the same sentence! Here's to a calmer new week!
