When I'm not sewing, I'm baking. On this page, I've
linked to some tried and true recipes that I've made and
highly recommend ('cause not everything on Pinterest can actually be good, right?).
For lots more (untested) ideas, you can follow me on Pinterest.

Leftover Cranberry Sauce Muffins (left) and Pumpkin Cranberry Muffins (right)
Brown Butter Pumpkin Cupcakes with Salted Caramel Frosting (left) and Banana-Coconut Muffins (right)
Summer Berry Custard Bars from this recipe (left) and Cornmeal Peach Cobbler from this recipe (right)
Triple Salted Caramel Cupcakes (on the blue platter) from this recipe (Incidentally, the blondies in the foreground are also a perennial favorite around here. They're from the America's Test Kitchen cookbook.)
Thanksgiving 2013 edition: Maple Buttermilk Custard Pie and Creamy Pumpkin Pie Bars (so much better than real pumpkin pie!)
Coconut Brown Butter Cookies from this recipe -- whoa.
Nectarine and Cream "Cobbler" from this recipe (We used peaches with great success. Also, this pic is from before the cobbler was baked because I didn't get an after shot. Suffice it to say it looked (and tasted) delicious.)
Recipes without posts:
- Neiman Marcus cookies from Browneyed Baker (These were a childhood favorite, but I hadn't made them in a really long time until recently, when I made them for a Texas-themed dinner. (NM is from Dallas, my hometown). Browneyed Baker's version is helpful because it halves the original recipe, which makes a ridiculous number of cookies. Also, don't be fooled by the recipe on NM's website; it's not the "famed version," just one they came up with to dispel the rumors.)
- Blond Moment Bars
