In this installment of life (not so) lately, we're getting in the way-back machine and going all the way back to Easter. My dad and step-mom visited for Easter again this year, and we had a lovely weekend.
We kept the weekend pretty chill, avoiding the large local Easter egg hunts and mostly enjoying ourselves at home. To get out of the house on Saturday, we decided to take B for his first round of mini golf. It was pretty successful, though by the end, he was hitting the ball once and then picking it up and dropping it in the hole. He is three, after all.
Afterward, we treated ourselves to some Ted Drewes and then headed home to decorate Easter eggs, another first for B. He seemed to really enjoy it, and everyone got in on the action.
We finished off the day with a bike ride and a delicious Easter meal of ham, rolls, scalloped potatoes, and asparagus, topped off with a chocolate bunny, natch.
On Sunday, B got to enjoy two Easter egg hunts, one at home in the morning and another that evening with friends. He loved finding all of the eggs he'd painted, though perhaps not as much as the goodies he got in his Easter basket. :)
