Thankful Mondays #35

Hello, Monday! Each Monday, I'm writing about things I'm thankful for. This is week 35. Read more about it here.

511. fitting in a few more outings with friends
512. getting an extra hour of sleep with the autumn time change
513. knowing we'll be home with Biscuit in less than two weeks (the maximum amount of time left before our OB would induce me — hopefully, it won't come to that!)
514. Mizzou's decision to join the SEC (which we're hoping will lead to more Texas A&M/Mizzou matchups close to us)
515. reading friends' blogs
516. cozy pajama pants
517. getting Biscuit's car seat inspected
518. more friends being blessed with babies
519. a delicious new Thai place (I had pink noodles!)
520. Sunday morning pancakes
521. finishing a good book
522. how excited everyone is about Biscuit's imminent arrival
523. already being 3 cm dilated
524. my sweet husband, who brought home an XL t-shirt for me when he gave blood last weekend so I'd have a huge, comfy shirt to sleep in
525. finishing up work projects before Biscuit's arrival

I'm still here!

Sorry for the recent dearth of posts. I'm at the start of my 40th week, and I've just been pooped. I've been so tired and sore, in fact, that I haven't even had the energy to sew, which is just sad.
Two weeks ago, I even cut the fabric for Biscuit's stocking while watching one of the World Series games (ugh, Rangers), and it's been sitting on my ironing board ever since. Plus, I have some other "fun" (i.e., not necessary) projects I'd like to work on, but every time I think about it, I pretty much decide I'd rather just sit on the couch and read.

Anyway, we're really hoping Biscuit makes his grand appearance this week, which I know will lead to a whole other kind of tired, but then at least I'll have him in my arms to make it better. And I don't think my hips can take much more carrying him around. :)
